Manti Temple Trip with friends

As you can see I am way behind in my blogging. Larry and I went to the Manti Temple yesterday with some really good friends of ours. We went with Bob and Marylynn Miller, and Kazu and Eiko and their daughter Erica. We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed each other's company. I will write more later and post more pictures. I am so tired right now. We did get to go to California for a Month in May to visit with my Brothers and my Mother, that was a very interesting trip also. I will write more about that later. Enjoy these few pictures from the trip yesterday.

I need to be more diligent in my journal writing, so here goes.

Yesterday was a beautiful Sunday. We had our Stake Conference. All of the talks were wonderful and the Youth and Adult Choirs did a fabulous job. The message that I got from the talks were we need to spend time with our families and read the scriptures every day and have family and individual prayers. We took Sister Nancy Owings with us. I am her Visiting Teacher. We always enjoy her company.

After Conference I had to do some Visiting Teaching. Then at 4:00 my Visiting Teachers came by to visit with me. We had a nice visit. My Visiting Teachers are Heidi Jenkins and Stefhanie Carlisle.

Then the rest of the day we just relaxed and enjoyed an evening at home. We do need to go visit my Mother-in-law this week in Orem. In a few weeks my husband and I are going to be going to California for 3 weeks. Yeah, we finally get to take a vacation together, it has been awhile. I am reading the Book of Mormon and I feel closer to my Heavenly Father when I do read the scriptures. Take care everyone and have a wonderful week.

I know it's been awhile.

Sorry guy's I haven't written anything in my blog for awhile. I did go to my Ward Temple night last month. I went through for my Great-Grandmother Sara Josephine Hamm. We went with our good friend Kazu Aoyama. It was snowing when we were leaving the Temple. I love going to the Temple, it is so peaceful and quite there. My husband got to go to his Nephew Eric's Wedding today at the Salt Lake City Temple. I wasn't able to go because I didn't have enough time to get ready, oh well, I am just glad that my husband got to go with his Sister Shelly and her husband Todd.

I didn't make it to Church yesterday because I woke up with a terrible headache. I had it all day. I did go to my Visiting Teaching Appointment to visit with Patti Davis. We had a nice visit with her. So all was not a total loss for my Sunday. I have been reading the Book Of Mormon.

My Mother continues to have quite a bit of back pain. I hate that she has to go through all of this. Life is tough at times. Guess that is it for now, I will try and be more diligent in writing my thoughts down. Have a great week everyone.

Today is my Mother's 92 Birthday

Today was my Mother's 92 Birthday. I wish I could have been home in California to spend it with her, but I am here in Utah. I did call her up and wished her a happy Birthday. She is just an amazing woman. I have learned a lot from her over the year's. We get along pretty well for a Mother and Daughter relationship. I hope she makes it to 95.

I am still waiting for my Husband to get home from being at his Mother's in Orem. He had to take his Niece Sarah somewhere. I guess we will have leftovers for Dinner tonight. I sure hope he get's home soon. Tonight American Idol is on. I sure need to do the Treadmill again, I have fallen off the wagon so to speak. I also need to get back on a diet.

Guess that's it for today. We saw a really cute Movie yesterday at the Mall here in Provo, The Princess and the Frog. I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Till next time peace.

Not to much going on right now.

I tried calling home a few times today and so far no one answers the phone, I sure hope everything is ok with my Mother. Her health seems to be improving, so I am hoping that she is out with my brother somewhere visiting or shopping, she was cooped up for a few months.

I went to Church last Sunday and really enjoyed our Marriage and Family Relations class that we are going too. Brother Parker is the teacher and I thought he did an excellent job. In Relief Society we had a spiritual lesson taught by Susan McCloud. She is a great teacher. I plan on going to all of my meetings tomorrow. I love Sunday's it is a day to be with family and friends and attend Church.

I am waiting for my hubby to get home from the store so that I can make us some lunch. I guess that's it for now. Take care everyone and have a wonderful Saturday and a wonderful Sunday. I hope I can get a hold of someone soon so I can see if my Mom is doing alright.

Happy New Year Everyone.

Happy New Year everyone. Larry and I had a quiet Christmas with just the two of us. For New Year's Eve we went to Provo First Night at the Mall. They had Fireworks at 9:00 as soon as we got there they were shooting the fireworks. We went inside the Mall and they had quite a few International Dancers there strutting there stuff. They even had a Dance going on. Larry and I just took it easy and enjoyed the dancers. They even had Bagpipe players. At about 10 minutes before Midnight we went outside to watch them start the glass ball to go down and then we sang and shouted Happy New Year. They had more Fireworks. Then we just went home. New Year's Day we just stayed home and enjoyed each others company.

The weather has been so cold this past month that I have hardly gotten out in it. In a few months I will be the big 60. Well, not much else to say will write more later. I still am doing the treadmill for about 30 minutes.

I did it again this afternoon.

I did the treadmill for another 20 minutes this afternoon, boy was it a chore today. I missed doing it yesterday, because I did a lot of house work yesterday and was too tired to do it, so today was really hard, but I did it.

Hubby is at the Provo Temple tonight with his home teaching partner. I was going to go but still not quite up to par after having the flu. It is our ward Temple night. I will go next month for sure. That will be a good goal to start off the New Year right.

My Mother is still struggling with a lot of pain in her back, she thinks it is a sciatica nerve. I hope she get's some relief soon. Wish I could be with her to help her out some, but I am here in Provo. Hope she is better by Christmas so she can enjoy it with the family that will be there.

Well guess that's it for now. Will write more in a couple of day's. Take care everyone.
