I did it again this afternoon.
I did the treadmill for another 20 minutes this afternoon, boy was it a chore today. I missed doing it yesterday, because I did a lot of house work yesterday and was too tired to do it, so today was really hard, but I did it.
Hubby is at the Provo Temple tonight with his home teaching partner. I was going to go but still not quite up to par after having the flu. It is our ward Temple night. I will go next month for sure. That will be a good goal to start off the New Year right.
My Mother is still struggling with a lot of pain in her back, she thinks it is a sciatica nerve. I hope she get's some relief soon. Wish I could be with her to help her out some, but I am here in Provo. Hope she is better by Christmas so she can enjoy it with the family that will be there.
Well guess that's it for now. Will write more in a couple of day's. Take care everyone.
Waiting for hubby to get home.
I am patiently waiting for my Hubby to get home from doing some of his Home Teaching. It has been so cold here these last few days, that I rarely venture out into the real world. I got on the dreaded bathroom scales this morning to find out that I have gained at least 15 pounds, yes that's right, so now I am on a diet again. I have been exercising on our treadmill for the last 2 days. Yesterday was my first time and I could only do 10 minutes. Today I did 20 minutes, but boy was it a struggle. I am so out of shape.
My goal is to loose this 15 pounds by the first of the year. I need to be looking for a job to help the hubby out with a few of our bills. We will have a Christmas even if it will be a small one at that. I love this time of the year.
I am going to go make me some dinner. I am already hungry, I have been trying to not dwell on it so much. I keep busy upstairs away from the kitchen. Happy Holidays everyone.
I didn't get to go to Church again today.
I woke up still not feeling quite up to par to make to all three Church meetings today. My faithful husband went. I did take a shower and got dressed and felt a little better. We got about 4 inches of snow on the ground last night. It was kind of nice looking out the bedroom window and seeing a blanket of white on everything including our car parked out in front. We are supposed to get more snow over night and into Tuesday.
My married Niece Hannah and her husband Russell came over today to pick up a few things that they are storing down in our basement. It's always so nice to be able to visit with them, even if it was for a few minutes. They are such a cute couple.
Well not much else to write about, so I will sign off until next time have a good one.
I just posted a blog and lost it.
I just posted a blog and lost it. So this time it's gonna be short and simple. I have finally figured out how to cut and paste and I am totally excited about it, I figured it out all by myself. I am finally getting over a head cold that I have had since the day after Thanksgiving.
Well folks it's getting late and I plan on going to all of my meetings at Church tomorrow. My favorite day of the week is Sunday. I get to spend it with family and friends, what more could any person ask for.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
My life has been so busy this past year. I have had to make two trips to California to help my
beautiful, sweet Mother out. She is really quite an amazing women. She will be 92 in January. Her health is still pretty good.
For Thanksgiving my wonderful husband Larry and I had two family dinners to go to this year. They were both loads of fun, with laughter and tons of food. The first dinner we attended was held at my Mother-in-laws Ward in the Cultural Hall. Hosted by my Brother-in-law Todd. I thought he did a wonderful job. We had about four different families there all on Larry's side of the family. The food was great and needless to say but I ate way to much. Then our next dinner was at my Niece Ashleigh's place here in Provo. It was hosted by my Brother Bill and his wife Kim. The food once again was great. My Nephew Russell who is married to my beautiful Niece Hannah made the Turkey and the best Cinnamon rolls and dinner rolls. Once again I pigged out. We had fun. I do have a lot to be thankful for. I have a wonderful Husband that I have been married to for almost 25 years. My side of the family and all of my husbands family. He is the oldest of 11 kids. Just a wonderful family.
I have been nursing a head cold that I got over Thanksgiving. I hope to go to my Ward Relief Society's Christmas Program and my Ward Family Christmas Program which will be the 3rd and 4th of this month. I still have to get my Christmas decorations put up and Christmas Cards sent out. I love this time of the year. I promise I will keep up on my blog much better this coming year.
